The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which was scheduled to be held on May 3, 2020.
Due to the ongoing hardships faced by many people in India and around the world that is caused by the coronavirus pandemic, NTA could not risk further to conduct the NEET exam as scheduled. However, as of now, the commencement of the examination is proposed to be held in the last week of May 2020 and the date will be intimated later once the lockdown is lifted.
As the release date of the Admit Cards has also been postponed, the same will be issued after April 15, 2020. The NTA will announce the exact date once the lockdown is lifted i.e., after April 15, 2020.
NTA requested the students and parents not to worry about the examination. Instead, asked the students to utilize this time to prepare well and also to focus on improving their skills for the examination.
Students are requested to check the NTA official website from time to time for the latest updates regarding the examination date and admit card release date.
